Though his siblings rule the living, only Hades rules the dead. The barge of the restless, the three-headed guardian, the wife who regards him with both love and contempt. Soon, war would bring a flood of life down to him, down into eternal darkness, and there would be more work to do.
What a shame, thought Hades to himself, if his siblings fell in battle. What a surprise it would be, thought Hades, if Legenda gave him Olympus.
